Chapter 8
Inspection and maintenance
The following table shows the intervals for regular maintenance in distance and
time. At the end of an interval, be sure to carry out the specified inspection,
lubrication and maintenance. If your motorcycle is used with heavy loads or in a
dusty environment, the maintenance should be carried out more frequently.
Your dealer can give you further guidance. Steering parts, shock absorbers,
bearings and wheels are critical components, and require professional skills to
repair. In the light of safety, it is advisable for the inspection and maintenance to
be done by your dealer and their qualified maintenance staff.
Be sure to make regular maintenance checks according to the instructions
in the manual.
Precaution
Only use genuine MASH parts, sourced from your nearest MASH stockiest.
The use of inferior or pattern parts can lead to premature failure and
invalidation of your warranty
After correct running-in of 1000 km, it is essential that the initial
maintenance procedure is carried out. Failure to do so will shorten the life of
your engine, and may invalidate your warranty
