Why won't the pilot or main burner light on my Masport Indoor Fireplace even with a spark?

If the pilot or main burner of your Masport Indoor Fireplace (EIS & ECS) won't light even with a strong blue spark, it could be due to several reasons. First, there might be air in the pipeline; repeat starting attempts until the air clears. Second, if the fireplace hasn't been used for a while (especially with Propane and ULP gases), there might be stale gas in the pipeline, in this case, bleed the pipeline or persist with starting attempts. Finally, ensure you are following the correct lighting procedure, that there is a gas supply at the heater, and that the pilot filter or jet isn't blocked (Piccolo), or that there is fuel in the LPG system. Check for closed gas valve(s) or faulty gas supply lines, replace the filter in the control valve and clean the jet, and replenish the LPG supply ...
