Playing User Sample
1. After sampling, it will go back to normal mode automatically. LCD
will display the sample you’ve just recorded.
2. Play the keyboard to use this sample for performance.
3. You can switch the user sample by using the numeric buttons, [<] /
[>] buttons or the data dial.
4. You can play the sample with effects when Touch Pad effect is in
use.
Deleting User Sample
Hold down [<] and [>] buttons, then turn on the power. All user data will
be deleted.
You can record sounds by using the built-in microphone located above
the LCD and then play the keyboard to use them. The sounds will be
stored at the end of sound library. Each sample can be recorded up to
2 seconds.
Recording User Sample
1. Press [MIX] and [RECORD] buttons simultaneously to enter Sampler
mode.
Now, it’s “Standby” state, the LCD displays “Standby” and the
center LED light flashes.
2. Use the data dial to select a slot to save the sample.
3. After selecting the slot, the sampler will be triggered by the sound
directly. When the sampler is triggered, the LCD will show “Sampl-
ing”. When samlping is finished, the LCD will show “Finished”.
When the sound volume reaches the trigger level, sampling will start
automatically.
When the sound volume drops under the trigger level or when the
recording time reaches 2 seconds, it will stop automatically and save
the sound.
4. The pitch correction function is turned on by default. The sampled
pitch will be automatically recognized and corrected to the closest
key pitch. When it is turned off, the sampled pitch will be corrected
and set as C4. You can turn this function on or off in the function
menu.
Note:
The next available empty slot will be selected automatically before the
next sampling starts. For example, if the first slot has data, the second
slot will be automatically selected. If all slots are used up, the first slot
will be selected. Please note that when sampling again on the slot with
data, the original data will be overwritten.
