While in the DVD stop mode OR while in DVD mode and
without a DVD inserted, press the SETUP button
1 twice;
the Password Page will appear. Use the Navigation (

buttons 2 to select PARENTAL.

Press the Navigation (®) button and then select the desired
parental setting for the DVD player using the Navigation
(π,†) buttons.

PARENTAL
The Parental option enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on a DVD. It reads the
ratings for programming, then denies access to programming if the program’s rating meets the limitations you select. In this
case, the user will have to enter a password.
Press the PLAY/ENTER button 1 and the password screen
will appear. Input the 4 digit password using the Direct
Channel Selection/Number (0-9) buttons 2, then press the
PLAY/ENTER button 1.
NOTE:
• The default password is 1234.

To change the password, select PASSWORD using the
Navigation (π,†) buttons 1, then press the PLA
Y/ENTER
button 2 twice; the password screen will appear. Enter the
Old Password, New Password and then the New Password
again using the Direct Channel Selection/Number (0-9)
