SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Installation Instructions carefully before use.
The machine is intended for household use, or for use in staff rooms, hotel rooms or other similar places.
Read the instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference.
Enclose the instructions with the product if you sell it, or pass it on.
WARNING: Follow the safety instructions below:
EARTH CONNECTION
The machine must be earthed. The current is earthed in the event of a fault or malfunction, which
reduces the risk of electric shock. The machine has a power cord with an earth wire and an
approved, earthed plug.
Plug the plug into a suitable mains outlet, which has been properly installed and earthed in
accordance with local regulations.
WARNING:
An incorrectly connected earthed plug can result in electric shock.
Consult an authorised electrician or service centre if you are unsure whether the machine is
properly earthed. Never modify the plug in any way. If the plug does not fit the mains socket,
contact an authorised electrician to install a correctly earthed mains socket.
WARNING: Intended use
Do not expose the dishwasher to knocks and blows, and do not sit on it or stand on the door panel
or wash basket.
Do not touch the heating element when a wash programme is in progress, or immediately after a
programme has finished (applies to machines with visible heating element).
Do not use the machine unless all the panels in the casing are in place. Open the door panel very
carefully when in use – hot water can spray out.
Do not place heavy objects on the door panel when it is open. The machine could tip over.
Pay attention to the following when filling the dishwasher.
- Place kitchen utensils with sharp edges so that they cannot damage the door panel seal.
- WARNING: Knives and other kitchen utensils with sharp points must be placed with the
points downwards in the wash baskets, or laid flat.
Make sure that plastic objects do not come into contact with the heating element (only applies to
machines with visible heating element).
Check that the dishwasher detergent compartment is empty after the wash programme is finished.
Only wash plastic objects that carry a dishwasher label. If there are no markings on a plastic object,
see the manufacturer's recommendations.
Only use detergents and rinsing agents that are intended to be used in dishwashers.
Never use soap, washing powder or hand-wash detergent in the dishwasher. Store such products
out of the reach of children.
Do not allow children to open the door panel to the dishwasher. There may still be some residue of
dishwasher detergent inside the machine.
The machine is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional
disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it,
unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the machine from someone who is
responsible for their safety.
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the machine.
Dishwasher detergent is very basic, and very dangerous to swallow. Avoid contact with the skin
and eyes. Keep children away from the dishwasher when the door panel is open.
Never leave the door panel open – risk of tripping over it!
A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to
ensure safe use.
Remove the door panel if the dishwasher is handed in for service, or for disposal.
Recycle the packaging in accordance with local regulations.
Do not use the machine for any other purpose than the one it is intended to be used for.
Do not bend or clench the power cord during the installation. Do not modify the controls on the
machine.
