PREPARATIONS
The dishwasher should be placed near an existing water inlet, drain and mains outlet.
It can be an advantage to place it on one side of the kitchen sink to simplify the connection of outlet
hoses.
POSITIONING
Put the dishwasher in the required place. The back should be supported by the wall behind, and the sides
by adjacent cabinets or a wall. The dishwasher has inlet and outlet ports for water on both side to simplify
installation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNING:
Personal safety
Do not use extension cords or adapters.
Never remove the earth from the power cord.
Electrical data
The type plate shows information on the rated voltage. The use of a 10 A delay action fuse, or automatic
fuse is recommended. The dishwasher should be connected to a separate circuit.
Make sure that it is properly earthed before use
Electrical connection
Check that the mains voltage and frequency correspond to the values on the type plate. Plug the power
cord into an earthed mains outlet.
Earth connection
The machine must be earthed. The current is earthed in the event of a fault or
malfunction, which reduces the risk of electric shock. The machine has a power
cord with an earth wire and an approved, earthed plug. Plug the plug into a
suitable mains outlet, which has been properly installed and earthed in
accordance with local regulations.
WARNING:
An incorrectly connected earthed plug can result in electric shock.
Consult an authorised electrician or service centre if you are unsure whether the machine is
properly earthed.
Never modify the plug in any way. If the plug does not fit the mains socket, contact an authorised
electrician to install an earthed mains socket.
