Before and after filling dishwasher baskets
Follow these instructions for best wash results. The wash baskets and cutlery baskets may differ from the
ones shown.
Scrape off scraps of food. Soak burned residues and scaps of food in oven dishes etc.
The dishes do not need rinsing under running water.
Place the dishes in the dishwasher as follows:
1. Cups, glasses, bowls and dishes should be placed bottom up.
2. Place deep utensils so that the water can run off.
3. All the dishes should be placed so that they either stand or lie where they cannot tip over.
4. Place the dishes in such a way that the rinse arms can rotate freely during the wash programme.
NOTE: Very small utensils should not be washed in the dishwasher because they can easily drop through
the baskets.
Place cups, glasses, and bowls etc. with the bottoms up so that they cannot collect water.
Dishes and cutlery should not be stacked or placed next to each other.
Glasses should not be touching, otherwise they can get chipped.
Place large utensils in the wash basket.
Do not place knives with the points sticking up – risk of personal injury.
Long and sharp cutlery such as knives should lie flat in the wash basket.
Do not overfill the dishwasher.
