OTHER COMMANDS
Password
Some parameters require a password to be entered in order to be queried or programmed.
The default password is four zeros (0000). In a programming session, once the password has
been correctly entered, it will not be requested again during the programming session.
The password can be changed using parameter 40.
It is important to remember the new password as it is requested in remote queries.
Speaker volume
The speaker volume can be adjusted to three different levels as programmed with a 0, 1 or 2.
The default level is 1, the intermediate level. Turning up the volume to level 2 may produce
feedback and beeps depending on the assembly in each case.
Outgoing voice message (OGM)
This is the message recorded at the time of installation where the address or other useful
location information is stored for the recipient of the call. It would be similar to the voice
message recorded on an answering machine. The maximum duration is 20 seconds. When you
execute the recording command,*51#, you have to wait until the green light is on to start
talking, and you have to press # at the end of the sweepers, otherwise the message will be
unnecessarily prolonged to 20 seconds with silence. When generating an alarm call, the call
centre operator can play this message by pressing 5 on his keypad, or later, by pressing *51*.
Pressing 5 also acts as a call ACK and playback of the location message. If there is no location
message recorded, the following locution is not generated: "press 5 to hear the location
message.
Once the communication with the cabin is established, and the audio channel is opened, if the
command *51* is pressed, the location message will be played
