Maintenance phone number programming
This number is the one that is dialled in case the B2, Maintenance Alarm button is pressed. If
no number is stored, the car alarm call numbers are called. When you press this button, there
is no countdown and a call is generated immediately.
Alarm button delay time (B1)
When the car alarm button is pressed, a phone call is not immediately generated. The alarm
button must be held down for a while to trigger the alarm. This is done to avoid unwanted or
accidental calls. Pressing the alarm button starts a countdown from the value programmed by
this parameter. The default value is "3.
Emergency call duration (TLL)
The duration of the emergency calls is timed. The default value is 3 minutes, but it can be
changed with this parameter. Shortly before the set time limit is reached, a repetitive beep
will be heard. At this point, if the alarm button is pressed again or the operator presses a DTMF
tone on his keypad, the timer resets so that a new n-minute period is available to continue the
call.
The TLL call time must always be greater than the TACK call acceptance time.
Each time the call centre operator presses a DTMF tone, including 3 or 5 to accept the
call, the TLL call time resets to the programmed n, or 3 more minutes if left as default.
Alarm filtering
Using the alarm filtering means having a signal wired from the control panel to the
optocoupled input for this purpose. In addition, parameter 19 must be set to enable alarm
filtering if wired.
