PROGRAMMING COMMANDS
Language selection (81)
The MEP2L incorporates a flash memory with the capacity to store up to four voice synthesis
languages for car and programming messages. Unless otherwise indicated, these languages are
ES, EN, FR and PO. It is possible to change one or all languages by connecting to a PC via an
FTDI cable and the appropriate PC software. If you need a language not included, please
consult Merak Telsis, SL.
Car number (29)
In a multi-car installation where the telephone line is shared, it is necessary to differentiate the
MEP2L phones from each other. This parameter is used to number, starting with one (default
value), the cars that share the line. It is important to say that in case of an incoming call, only
car one picks up the call. In case you want to talk to another car, we explain later how to do it.
It is important not to repeat the car number in a multi-car installation sharing the
same telephone line. In a single lift installation with a single line, nothing should be
done as the MEP2L is pre-programmed as car 1.
Alarm phone number programming
Up to 4 telephone numbers can be stored for the alarm call generated by the B1 car button, in
registers 02, 03, 04 and 05
