Incoming call
When you hear the "Enter Command" prompt, you can perform the following ACTIONS
from the keypad of the calling phone:
Force hang up on the call
From any telephone with a keypad that communicates with the MEP2L, it is possible to force
the hang up of the call to the MEP2L using this sequence (*0#). This is useful in those situations
where the MEP2L is known not to be able to detect the line signalling corresponding to the
hang-up (busy tone or dead tone), and ends up hanging up by timeout. The MEP2L detects a
large number of hang-up signals and busy tones, but if it does not detect any, terminated with
*0# the MEP2L hangs up the call immediately.
TEST CALLS
Programming phone number for periodic test call
Test calls can be made to two phone numbers. In case of test for missed call (out of standard),
only one phone number has to be programmed.
Test call mode
To make test calls according to a strict rule, this parameter must be set to 1. In this way, a
failed test call will be signalled in the lift car by the flashing of the car lights. If programmed to
0, the failed test status is not indicated.
