Query commands via local keypad or remote call
Configuration of B1 and B2 buttons NO/NC
The MEP2L can be operated with both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) buttons.
By default, it is configured to operate with normally open (NO) type pushbuttons. Parameter
12 has two positions, one for each B1 and B2 button, 0 is normally open (NO) and 1 is normally
closed (NC).
If you want to use the normally closed (NC) type buttons, you must set this parameter
BEFORE you wire the NC buttons.
Multi-car (FW 1.5 or higher)
It is possible to share the phone line with up to 4 MEP2L phones. Do not mix different brands
and models.
If there is more than one phone sharing a phone line it is ESSENTIAL to assign
different phone numbers to each phone using parameter 29. The assigned car
numbers should begin with 1 and continue sequentially to 4.
In case of an incoming call, always pick up the phone with a car number equal to 1. If
we want to talk to another car, we need to enter the following sequence:
At the end, optionally force hang up, using *0# sequence.
