Only use commercially available vehicle diesel fuels . Marine diesel fuels, heating
oils or the like must not be used.
Change engine oil as under severe operating condit ions (see Maintenance
Booklet) if diesel fuels are used whose sulphur content exceeds 0.5
% by weight.
When fuel is filled from barrels, it should be passed through a filter, a piece of
chamois leather or even a clean flannel cloth, inserted into the filler neck.
If diesel fuel has been spilt, the affected spot can be cleaned by using a mixture
of 25 to 50
% vinegar and 75 to 50 % water (depending on the degree of
contaminat ion). This will help to get rid of the offensive odor.
