1 Securing nuts
- Remove dipstick , extract oil with oil
extrac tor
or
unscrew oil drain plug and drain oil.
Clean drain plug.

601, 602
- Prior to removing the oil filter, place oil
catch pan under oil filter hous ing.
- Loosen but do not unscrew oil filter
cover securing nuts.
- Pull off cover from oil filter housing in
order that the oil may drain.
- Unscrew securing nuts of oil filter cover
and remove cover.
