6. Separate the motor assembly from the power tilt pump and cylinder assembly.

Power Tilt Motor Disassembly, Inspection, and Repair

Remove the two cross slotted screws securing the motor housing to the bracket assembly.

2. Remove the armature from the motor housing.
Test for Short
1.
Test armature on a growler. Follow the growler manufacturer's test instructions.
2. Indication of a short requires replacement of armature.
