How to fix water not flowing through METER ATMOS 41 Weather Station rain gauge?
    • J
      Joyce BarnettSep 8, 2025
Check the spring, screen, and outflow of the METER Weather Station's rain gauge to make sure there isn't any debris blocking the water flow.

What to do if my METER ATMOS 41 is not reading any rain?
    • H
      Hannah ThomasSep 10, 2025
If your METER Weather Station's ATMOS 41 is not reading any rain, first, clear any obstructions from the rain gauge funnel. Ensure the ATMOS 41 is within approximately ±2 degrees of dead level in both X and Y directions; otherwise, drops from the flared hole might miss the gold electrodes. Use the internal level measurements in the ATMOS 41 data stream to confirm it's level. You can also gently twist the top of the weather station and remove the rain gauge funnel, being careful to unplug the pyranometer connector inside before removing the funnel completely. Finally, check for any obvious issues and ensure the gold electrodes are aligned correctly.

How to troubleshoot an unresponsive ATMOS 41 METER Weather Station?
    • J
      Jesse WatsonSep 12, 2025
If your METER Weather Station's ATMOS 41 is not responding, check the power to the sensor, the sensor cable and 3.5-mm plug integrity, and try a different port on the data logger. Also, verify the data logger wiring to ensure the following connections are correct: * Brown—3.6 V to 15.0 V power supply * Orange—digital out * Bare—ground If the sensor still does not respond, use the ProCheck to ensure it is working properly.

Why is my METER Weather Station showing no wind speed?
    • D
      Derrick WardSep 13, 2025
If your METER Weather Station shows no wind speed, check the anemometer pathway for any debris blocking the sonic transducer measurement path, which is between the transducers and the acoustic mirror on the base. Also, inspect the sonic transducers for water build-up and dab it away with a dry cloth if present. Ensure the sintered glass plate is clean by flushing it with water and drying it with a dry cloth. Finally, ensure the ATMOS 41 is level.

Why does my METER ATMOS 41 have no temperature reading?
    • J
      Jonathan WhiteSep 15, 2025
If you are getting no temperature reading from your METER Weather Station, check the temperature needle to ensure it is not pushed in, as this can break the thermistor wires and stop measurement. Also, avoid applying excessive force to the temperature sensor needle during cleaning, as its delicate lead wires can be easily damaged.

What to do if water isn't flowing through the rain gauge of my METER ATMOS 41?
    • S
      Sandra VillaSep 18, 2025
If water is not flowing through the rain gauge of your METER Weather Station, check the spring, screen, and outflow to ensure there is no debris lodged within them.
