ELECTRODE PLACEMENT
This configuration is intended to provide a
standard 12 lead recording similar to that
obtained from a resting ECG:
― Lead I, II, III (Einthoven leads)
― Leads avR, avL, avF (augmented limb
leads)
― Leads V1 to V6 (precordial leads)
The central terminal of Wilson is automatically calculated by SpiderView.
Because of ambulatory conditions we recommend placing electrodes on the roots of the limbs
(Mason-Likkar configuration), often used in exercise testing.
NOTE: Due to the positioning of peripheral leads on the upper extremity of the limbs,
ambulatory recordings obtained in this configuration are more likely to contain movement
artifacts than other bipolar configurations previously described in this manual.
