SCDI
Ideal for uneven specular surfaces. Square Continuous Diffuse
Illumination (SCDI) increases the uniformity of on-axis illumination by
ensuring direct light from the diffuser is equally intense as light coming
from the beam splitter and the lighting cavity. Increasing the diffuser width
and elongating the chamber ensures any light directed to the object is
uniform. Refer to Figure A–13.
