5. Adding detergent

Close the lid and press it firmly shut.
Close the detergent drawer.
The cap is opened by the act of
inserting it in the detergent drawer.
The contents can run out of the cap
if you then remove it from the drawer
before it is used.
Dispose of opened caps.
The wash program will dispense the
contents of the cap at the correct time.
When using CapDosing, water intake
to the compartment takes place
solely via the cap.
When using caps, do not add extra
fabric softener to the
compartment.
Remove the empty cap at the end of
the program.
For technical reasons, a small amount
of water will remain in the cap.
Deactivating or changing CapDosing
CapDosing can only be deactivated or
changed prior to the program start.
Touch the CapDosingsensor control
and disable the selected cap option.
External dispensing
The washing machine is pre-equipped
for connecting to external detergent
dispensing systems. A separate
conversion kit for external dispensing
systems is required. This must be fitted
by Miele Service or by a Miele dealer.
