Illuminance Measurement Capabilities
Relative Spectral Response
The spectral response of an ideal illuminance meter would match V(l),+the spectral lumi-
nance efficiency function for photopic vision. JIS (Japan Industrial Standards) has estab-
lished a rating system that classifies illuminance meters according to how closely they match
this function. The CL-200 CHROMA METER conforms to the “general class AA” classifica-
tion.
