7.3 Common errors
- Corroded contact points at some point in an I/O line.
- An I/O device has been used outside its specified operating range.
- An input signal occurs in a shorter time period that taken by one program scan.
7.4 Replacing the battery
Turn OFF PC's power supply. Remove sidecover
from the PC. Remove battery from holder-discon-
nect and replace (this should be carried out in 20
sec if the current data held in the PC’s RAM is not
to be lost).
Refit battery and cover.
Caution:
- Battery replacement requires users to verify
data integrity such as the PLC program
(when a memory board is not attached),
latched (battery backed) device values and
RTC values.
Before switching the PLC to RUN, ensure the safety of the operation.
- If the battery backed data becomes unstable, clear the latched (battery backed) devices,
and transfer the data again. Set the RTC and default values again if necessary.
