Changing channels while using the PIP modes
You can use the buttons on the remote control to change the
channels of both the main image and the small PIP image, as if
your TV had two tuners.

To do this:
0 Press the VCR channel button
(VCR CH) on the remote control
to change the channel of' the
PIP image.
O Press the CHANNEL button on
the remolse control to change
the chamm]L of the main image.

When the source of both the main image and the PIP image is the
TV, the VCR channel (VCR CH) button will nos change the ,chan-
nels of the main image or the PIP image.
You must have set up the '_VCR" layer of your remote for this
button to work correctly. (See "Using the remolse control to operate
VCRs, cable boxes and other equipment" in Chapter 3.)
If you use a cable box with your VCR, do not u,_e this button unless
your VCR is able to control your cable box. Otherwise, switch the
remote to the layer that controls your cable box and use the main
channel buttons.
