2. Turn the socket (C) anticlockwise to re-
move it, and then pull the bulb out of the
socket.
3. To install the bulb, perform the removal
steps in reverse.
NOTE
l
Fully return the splash shield (B) to its origi-
nal position in the rear bumper.
l
When refitting the clip (A), first insert part
(D) of the clip into the hole and then press
part (E) into it.

1. Open the tailgate.
2. After removing the two screws (A),
move the lamp unit rearward and re-
move the lamp unit pins (B).
NOTE
l
It will be easier to remove the lamp unit if
you insert a minus screwdriver with the end
covered with a cloth or other object into the
space under the lamp unit and remove the
highest pin, and then pull the lamp unit at an
upward angle.
