11. TROUBLESHOOTING
If it is felt that there is any abnormality, investigate the cause immediately and take the necessary action to prevent any serious
failure.
If the cause is unknown, please contact your distributor for repairs.
When contacting your distributor, please give the machine serial number and engine number.
11.1 PROBLEMS WITH ENGINE RELATED PARTS
Starting motor does not turn when starting
switch is turned to START
• Insufficient battery charge
• Defective wiring
• Failure in starting motor, relay
• Charge
• Check, repair

Starting motor turns, but cranks engine
slowly
• Insufficient battery charge
• Defective ground connection wiring
• Viscosity of engine oil is too high

Starting motor turns, but engine does not
start

• Failure in fuel injection pump
