To remove the battery, lift up the latch which is
at the bottom of the radio, then slide the battery out
from the radio.
NOTE:
When removing the battery, ensure that the
radio is turned off.

Attaching the Antenna
Ensure the radio is turned off before attaching the antenna.

Set the antenna in its receptacle.

Turn the antenna clockwise to attach to the radio.
