Battery Charging
The internal Camera Batteries must be fully charged before proceeding with Hardware Installation. For solar
panel deployments, the Solar Panel Batteries must also be fully charged. Charging all batteries at the same
time is recommended, as they have similar charging times.
NOTE: Failure to fully charge the Camera Batteries and Solar Panel Batteries before installation may
cause the batteries to die before there is sufficient power to keep them charged under load.

Charging the Camera Batteries
Prior to installation, the internal Camera Batteries must be charged using the optional AC Power Adapter
or the included USB-C cable. To charge by USB-C cable, a USB-C Power Adapter or USB-C power source
capable of 25 Watts is strongly recommended. Lower amperage USB power sources will charge the camera
batteries very slowly.
Prerequisites: Obtain one of the following:
● AC Power Adapter
● USB-C Charging Cable and USB-C Power Adapter (25W)
The internal Camera Batteries have been installed.
