Option Actions
To use
the AC
Power
Adapter,
perform the following actions:
a. Align the elbow connector with the lower power port on the back of the camera
by rotating the connector until it drops into the port.
b. Tighten down the locking sleeve.
c. Plug the wall plug into an AC outlet.

2. Allow the internal Camera Batteries to fully charge.
During normal camera operation, the LED Status Indicator will appear solid green when the battery is
fully charged. For other LED power indications, see LED Status Indicator.
3. Select one of the following options:
● If this is a Solar Panel deployment, go to Charging Solar Panel Batteries on page 39.
● If this deployment uses an other power option, go to Pairing Cameras to Mobile Companion on
page 40.
Postrequisites: The internal Camera Battery is fully charged and the LED Status Indicator is solid green.

Charging Solar Panel Batteries
Use the included Solar Panel Battery AC Power Adapter to charge the Solar Panel Battery. If the solar panel
deployment calls for two batteries, each must be fully charged.
Prerequisites: Obtain the following:
● Solar Panel Battery AC Power Adapter
● Solar Panel Battery
Procedure:
1. Unscrew the cover from the battery tie port on the Solar Panel Battery.
