3.3.1
Assembling the Solar Panel
It is recommended to perform assembly of the solar panel at the L6Q installation site.
Prerequisites:
The Solar Panel Battery is fully charged.
For single solar panel deployments, obtain:
● Solar Panel Kit
For dual solar panel deployments, obtain:
● Solar Panel Kit
● Expansion Solar Panel Kit
● Expansion Solar Panel Battery Kit
For single solar panel deployments with an optional second battery, obtain:
● Solar Panel Kit
● Expansion Solar Panel Battery Kit
Procedure:
1. Stage the Solar Panel for assembly:
a. Remove the top layer of foam from the product packaging and place it on a stable, flat surface.
b. Carefully lift the Solar Panel from the product packaging.
CAUTION: The assembled Solar Panel is heavy. Observe safe lifting practices when
moving the panel.
c. Place the Solar Panel onto the foam sheet panel-side down, to protect the surface while working.
2. Secure the Shoulder Strap to the Solar Panel.
a. Obtain the Shoulder Strap from the Solar Panel Kit.
