Using Caller ID
The
calling line identification
(caller ID) feature lets you
see who is calling before you answer.
Note: The 'Open To Answer' feature must be turned off
to enable this feature.
• If the caller’s name is stored in your phonebook, the phone
automatically displays the

, when one is assigned). Otherwise, the phone displays
the caller’s phone number. To create or change a phonebook
entry, see page 73.
• If caller ID information is not available, your phone displays
the message

• Outgoing Calls: Other phones can display your phone
number when you call them or send a message. To hide your
number for the next call or message, press
M

Terminating an Incoming Call
While the phone is ringing or vibrating:
Depending on your phone settings and the type of
subscription you have, the call may be diverted to
another number, or the caller may hear a busy signal.
Note: The 'Open To Answer' feature must be turned off
to enable this feature.
