Requirements
PACKING LIST
The MicroBook ships with the items
listed below. If any of these items are not
present in your MicroBook box when you
first open it, please immediately contact
your dealer or MOTU.
■ One MicroBook
■ One USB cable (Type A to Type B)
■ One mic cable plug adapter
■ One MicroBook Mac/Windows User
Guide
■ One cross-platform Universal Audio
Installer
disc
■ MicroBook product registration card
■ One peel-off sheet of rubber feet
MAC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The MicroBook system requires the
following Mac system:
■ PowerPC G4 1 GHz Power Mac or
faster CPU (including PowerPC G5 CPUs
and all Intel processor Macs)
■ At least 256 MB (megabytes) of RAM;
512 MB or more is recommended
■ Mac OS X version 10.5 or 10.6; 10.5.6
or later is required.
■ A large hard drive, preferably at least
100 GB
WINDOWS SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The MicroBook system requires the
following Windows system:
■ Pentium 4 1 GHz Pentium CPU (or
AMD equivalent) or faster
■ At least 256 MB (megabytes) of RAM;
512 MB or more is recommended
■ Windows 7 or Vista
■ A large hard drive, preferably at least
100 GB

To register your MicroBook, you need
your unit’s serial number. See “Obtaining
your MicroBook serial number” on
