5.4 Fastening the shutter valve to the pipe
Recommendations
▪ The parallel use of a Buchholz relay is recommended. Install the shutter
valve in series with the Buchholz relay.
▪ Mount isolation valves on the two outer, pipe-connecting flanges so that
the devices can be removed without oil loss in the event of a fault.
▪ If you intend to use these components, first attach the tank-side isolation
valve and Buchholz relay to the pipe in accordance with the associated
operating instructions.
