Why is there poor vacuum in my multivac P100 pack?
    • T
      Theresa MedinaAug 18, 2025
A poor vacuum in the pack can occur due to several reasons. The evacuation time may be set incorrectly, so try increasing it. Ensure the pouch neck isn't clamped by the chamber lid; reposition the film pouch so the neck is within the chamber, cutting it off if needed. A dirty chamber lid gasket can also cause this, so clean it. Check the oil level and quality in the vacuum pump; refill or replace the oil if needed. Also, a damaged chamber lid gasket can be the cause, so replace it. If you are using moist or liquid products, steam might be interfering with the evacuation process, in which case you should abort the process if the chamber lid mists up. If none of these steps help, the evacuation system may be leaking, and you should notify the service.

What to do if the multivac P100 Kitchen Appliances pack is leaking?
    • D
      dominic53Aug 21, 2025
If your pack is leaking, it could be due to several reasons. First, try increasing the sealing time in small increments. Ensure that the pouch neck is not clamped by the chamber lid; if it is, insert the film pouch so that the pouch neck lies within the chamber, and cut off the pouch neck if necessary. Also, a dirty seal seam can cause leaks, so keep the inside of the film pouch in the area of the seal seam clean. Finally, the film pouch itself might be damaged, so try using a new film pouch.

What to do if Multivac Kitchen Appliances chamber lid does not stay closed?
    • S
      Scott HardyAug 23, 2025
If the chamber lid of your appliance isn't staying closed despite the pump running, ensure you are pressing the chamber lid shut evenly, firmly, and for a sufficient duration. Also, a dirty chamber lid gasket can prevent proper sealing, so clean it. If the gasket is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

How to fix uneven seal seam of Multivac Kitchen Appliances?
    • S
      Suzanne SwansonAug 26, 2025
An uneven and wavy seal seam can occur if the pressure difference between the chamber and the outside environment isn't large enough before sealing; set the evacuation time to achieve at least a 0.35 bar pressure difference. Worn Teflon tapes on the sealing bar and counter-pressure bar can also cause this, so replace the Teflon tapes. If the profile thread in the counter-pressure bar is worn, it needs to be repaired.

What to do if the chamber lid of multivac P100 Kitchen Appliances does not open?
    • W
      William RobertsAug 30, 2025
If the chamber lid doesn't open after packaging, first check if the gas strut is un-hooked. If so, hook in the gas strut by opening the chamber lid more than half way. If this doesn't solve the issue, the ventilation valve may not be opening, or the machine control may be defective. In either of these cases, you should notify the service.

    • N
      nathandelgadoSep 1, 2025

Why is the seal seam milky on my Multivac Kitchen Appliances?
    • K
      Kenneth KingSep 3, 2025
A milky seal seam indicates that the sealing time is set incorrectly. Reduce the sealing time until the seal seam is clear and transparent.

Why does the chamber lid open during sealing on my multivac P100?
    • R
      Ryan AndersonSep 6, 2025
If the chamber lid opens during the sealing process, it's likely due to an insufficient pressure difference between the chamber and the outside environment. Set the evacuation time such that the pressure display shows a pressure difference of at least 0.35 bar before starting the sealing process.

Why is my multivac P100 Kitchen Appliances machine so loud?
    • J
      Joseph DeanSep 8, 2025
If your machine is very loud, it could be due to a clogged air de-oiling element, in which case you should change it. Alternatively, the vacuum pump may be defective, requiring you to notify the service.
