Why is the seal seam not airtight and the pack is slack on my Multivac Kitchen Appliances?
    • S
      Sabrina WilsonAug 19, 2025
If the seal seam isn't airtight and the pack is slack, it could be due to several reasons: * The time Fill diaphragm is set too low. In this case, correct the time Fill diaphragm. * The sealing time or sealing pressure is incorrectly set. You should correct the sealing time and sealing pressure. * The pouch neck is clamped by the chamber lid. Ensure the film pouch is inserted so the pouch neck lies within the chamber. * The seal seam is dirty. Keep the sealing bar and film pouch clean. * The pack may not be airtight, so you should use a new film pouch. Also, the film pouch may not be suitable, so use a film pouch suitable for sealing.

What to do if the pressure target value is not reached in multivac C300 Kitchen Appliances?
    • A
      Anthony ThomasAug 22, 2025
If the pressure target value isn't being reached, it could be because the set pressure target value is not achieved (e.g. product contains water), so set a higher pressure target value. Also, the chamber lid gasket might be dirty, so try cleaning it. If the oil quantity is insufficient or the oil in the vacuum pump is too old, fill or replace the oil.

What to do if my Multivac Kitchen Appliances shows Fault 68?
    • B
      Breanna KramerAug 26, 2025
Fault 68 indicates a problem with the inert gas supply. Ensure that inert gas is connected or that there is sufficient gas supply. Check if the stop-cock for the gas supply is closed and open it. Also, inspect the gas hose for any kinks and remove them. If the value for the gas flushing pressure is set incorrectly, correct it. If the problem persists, notify MULTIVAC Service, as it may be due to an incorrectly calibrated or defective vacuum sensor, or a gas valve that does not open.

What does Fault 69 mean on my Multivac Kitchen Appliances?
    • T
      Tamara MartinezAug 31, 2025
Fault 69 indicates that the Evacuation pressure value is set too low. Correct the value for Evacuation pressure. If the problem persists, notify MULTIVAC Service, as it may be due to a clogged, missing, or leaking vacuum hose between the chamber and the vacuum sensor, a loose, leaking, or clogged vacuum hose, a chamber lid gasket that is not air-tight, or a defective vacuum sensor.

    • C
      Christina CollierSep 2, 2025
If you notice an odor or smoke, it might be because the air de-oiling element is defective, so change the air de-oiling element. If the problem persists, notify MULTIVAC Service because the oil return valve of the vacuum pump may be blocked.
