5.2 Test Print menu
Performs nozzle check of the print head and setup list.

 When "Banner 1" or "Banner 2" is set in the Print Mode menu, "Palette Print" is not displayed.

3.5 Test Print
Setup item Description
Nozzle check Perform the nozzle check printing.
It is used to check whether there are any clogged
heads, or missing or blurred prints.
3.5.1 Nozzle check
Mode print Mode print can be performed.
Used to confirm the following printing conditions.
 Print quality
 Effect
 Pre-heater temperature (VJ-1638 only)
 Platen heater temperature (VJ-1638 only)
 Dryer temperature (VJ-1638 only)
 Adjustment value
3.5.2 Mode print
Setup List Setup list printing is performed.
Use it for checking the setup item, user media and
print mode of the printer.
3.5.3 Setup print
Palette Palette print is executed for the color demonstration.
3.5.4 Palette print
Color Verify (VJ-1638 only) Print the color patches, then measure the color using
the optional spectrophotometer (SPECTROVUE
VM-10).
Compare the currently printed color with the
previously printed color to check the color difference.
3.5.5 Color Verify
  [Enter] key: "Printing" is displayed on the
operation panel and test printing starts.
 [Cancel] key: shifts to the previous menu.
