So the data can be a number between 8191 and -8192.
RETURNED DATA (BINARY FORMAT)
The returned data starts by indicating the date / time and setup mode.
The first line of data is then displayed. The format is as stated above. The first 5 bytes with an MSB of
“0” represent #3503 (ASCII). The first 2 bytes with an MSB of “1” represent the header followed by the
500 bytes of data. The final byte with an MSB of “1” is the error check. The line is completed with 2
bytes starting with an MSB of “0”, these are [CR] and [LF].
This is then repeated for each of the remaining lines.

This example is from the start of the returned data. The date, time and mode etc are displayed first.
The data for the first line starts from the byte of data labelled # and finishes with the data byte labelled
[LF]. Only the early and later pairs of data bytes are shown in this example.
PPA Settings for Capture Mode
To run capture mode it is necessary to set the PPA up as follows:
Press the APP button and select capture mode on the drop down menu. Press enter.
