Why my Napoleon Condo Pack unit will not operate?
    • K
      Kathy WoodAug 5, 2025
Your Napoleon Safety Equipment might not be operating due to several reasons: * **Power issues:** Check the power supply and voltage at the contactor. It might be a disconnected or loose connection. * **Fuse/breaker:** A blown fuse or tripped breaker could be the cause. Replace fuses or reset the breaker. * **Thermostat:** The thermostat may be out of calibration or set too high. Try resetting it. * **Contactor:** The contactor could be defective. Check for 24VAC at the contactor coil and replace it if open. * **Transformer:** A defective transformer might be the issue. Check the wiring and replace the transformer if needed. * **High pressure control:** If provided, the high-pressure control might be open. Reset it, referring to the high-pressure connection instructions.

    • R
      Ronald ClarkAug 17, 2025
If the outdoor fan is running but the compressor is off in your Napoleon Safety Equipment, consider these possible causes: * **Defective capacitor:** The run or start capacitor may be defective and need replacement. * **Defective start relay:** The start relay might be defective and require replacement. * **Loose wiring:** Check for correct voltage at the compressor, and inspect and tighten all connections. * **Compressor issues:** The compressor may be stuck, grounded, have an open motor winding, or an open internal overload. Wait at least 2 hours for the overload to reset; if it remains open, replace the compressor.
