6.5 Behaviour at bottom position
The behaviour at bottom position is set under comfort function 9.
If comfort function 9-a is selected the door controller will provoke a short step in order to obtain a signal
from the safety edge. When the reversing point is reached the motor is deactivated and then activated
again to obtain a signal from the safety edge. That is done to make sure that the bottom seal is positive
and the wire is tight.
If comfort function 9-b is selected the door controller will close at bottom position without making at short
step. When the door leaf reaches the motor stop limit, the door controller stops the door leaf and
reaches the bottom limit position, by the continuing movement. The reversing point is automatically
loaded by the activation of the safety edge.
If the ground somehow has change position height because of ex. snow or dirt, the controller will
maximum provoke 2 short steps in order to obtain a signal from the safety edge. In case of a safety
edge error the control unit will indicate a failure 2 on the display and switch to hold to run mode.

counts only if the reversing point disconnected and safety edge is activated.
