LCD Backlight Inverter Module
Power for the LCD backlight is supplied by an inverter circuit, which is
integrated on the LCD controller board in the 12.1” LCD. While the
inverter can be set to various levels of brightness, the 12.1” LCD can
only turn the backlight to maximum brightness or a lower brightness
for dark environments. The inverter generates the high voltage
necessary to start and run a dual CCFL backlight.
