Utility Applications
The following Utility Applications can be downloaded, as appropriate for Operating
System, and used to configure the NCR6932-2xxx 64-Key keyboard.

Firmware Update Utility
A command line tool that updates
the firmware of the keyboard using
the command prompt.
Windows GUI Firmware
Update Utility
A Graphical User Interface (GUI)
application that is used to update the
keyboard firmware.
Windows Command Line
Configuration Utility
A command line tool that flashes and
updates the keymap settings of a
keyboard using a .dat configuration
file created by the NCR Matrix Maker
utility.

Permits users to perform the
following during configuration:
• Detect the NCRRealPOS Compact
Alphanumeric (6932) Keyboard
• Set the keyboard configurations to
the flash memory in the keyboard
or RAM
• Set the keyboard to factory default
state
• Set the key mapping and/or
keyboard configuration with the
configuration data file
• Generate configuration data file
• Define the key mappings
• Define the keyboard configurations
• Define programmable keys
• Manage speaker control
