Lift the spindle, and any remains of the paper roll,
out of the printer. Discard any remaining paper but
retain the spindle.

Remove sufficient paper from the new supply roll so
that no traces of glue or tape remain on the roll. Tear
off the end of the supply roll to make a clean straight
edge.
