If a fault occurs in the digital camera system, a state of
health message will be generated indicating that the
security camera has failed.
Note:
If the media cartridge is not replaced prior to
becoming full, and if the system continues to take
photographs, then the system may return a fatal error.
This will be apparent by alternating state of health
messages indicating both a DISK MEDIA FULL message
and a COMMS ERROR message. If this occurs, follow
the procedure for changing the digital camera media
cartridge as described in Chapter 8.
To further isolate the fault, examine the 16 LEDs which
are located on the digital camera control board. This
board is positioned beside the camera disk drive
unit.The LEDs continuously indicate the status of the
digital camera system. If a fault is indicated by an
illuminated LED, make a note of which LED it is and call
your service engineer
