The five indicators on the BOP have the following
meanings:

IN-SERVICE - this is illuminated to show that the
ATM is ready for transactions
●
SUPERVISOR - this is illuminated to show that the
ATM is in the Supervisor Mode and not open for
transactions
●
ERROR - this is illuminated to show that a system
error has occurred
●
POWER - this is illuminated to show that the BOP is
receiving power from the ATM
●
COMM - this flashes to indicate that the ATM is
communicating with a host system.
When the rear panel is closed, and the ATM is in normal
mode, the BOP will display any SOH messages, or a
TERMINAL HEALTHY
message.
Any State Of Health (SOH) messages will also be
displayed when the ATM enters the Supervisor Mode.
The Supervisor switch is used to enter the Supervisor
Mode.
The reset switch will cause a reset of the whole terminal.
Note: To run a program, press the key on the BOP
which corresponds to the program you wish to run. The
BOP will display any sub-menus and screens two lines at
a time. These displays will scroll up the screen two lines
at a time.
