      If the projector cannot be found, verify the access points, the personal computer setting values, and the projector's [LAN Mode] setting values. If you're using infrastructure or 802.11 Ad Hoc, ensure the SSID is the same, paying attention to capitalization. Also, check for any obstructions between the access point and the computer, and try moving the computer closer. Confirm that the network settings are within the same segment. Finally, set only the network interface card (NIC) connected to the projector to "Valid", and disable any unused network cards.

      If the projector cannot be detected in a LAN environment, configure your personal firewall to allow communication with the projector. Refer to your firewall's help or user guide for instructions on how to do this.

      If you're having trouble projecting to the screen via LAN, ensure both your computer and the NEC projector have LAN cards installed and that the LAN settings are correctly configured on both devices. If you have multiple LAN connections, disable all but one. If using Image Express Utility 1.0, stop Continuous Transmit and then send the image from Dynamic Image Utility 2.0.

      To resolve instability, restart both the projector and the computer. When you need to change network settings, close the projector software first. Similarly, if you're adjusting the screen resolution, exit Image Express Utility 1.0 beforehand.

      For faster screen transmission, set the resolution of both your computer and the projector to the same value (except for GT6000). For GT5000, MT1065, MT1060, LT260, LT240, LT260K, LT240K and WT600, the recommended resolution is 1024 x 768 dots. For LT220 and MT860, it's 800 x 600 dots. If you are sending an image to GT6000, select 1024 x 768 on your PC.

      If the installation does not complete normally, and you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, ensure you are logged on with the appropriate administrative rights before attempting the installation. If a message appears during installation, add-in registration to PowerPoint may fail, but the projector software will still install. To ensure add-in registration, install the projector software on a computer with PowerPoint 2000/2002 installed.
