PROTECT MENU
SCREEN SAVER Reduces the risk of Image Persistence.
NOTE: When the screen saver starts, the image aspect is changed to [FULL]. When the screen saver
stops, the aspect will return to the current [ASPECT] setting.
When the [MOTION] option is set to [ON], these functions are not available: [MULTI PICTURE],
[IMAGE FLIP] (except for [NONE]), [TILE MATRIX], STILL, [ROTATE] and POINT ZOOM.
If input is set to [DisplayPort1] and the [DisplayPort VERSION] is set to [1.4], this function is
released.
MOTION Slightly expands the screen image to the pre-set zoom level then moves the image in four directions (up,
down, right, left) at the pre-set interval. Use the or button on the remote control to set the time on the
[INTERVAL] slider, and the zoom percentage on the [ZOOM] slider.
NOTE: If input is a DisplayPort signal 4K (60 Hz) 10bit, this function is deactivated.
POWER ON DELAY Delays the monitor from turning on for the amount of time set when the POWER ON button is pressed.
DELAY TIME The delay can be set between 0 and 50 seconds.
LINK TO ID Links the [DELAY TIME] to the monitor’s ID. This helps to prevent power surges that may occur if all
monitors in a multi-monitor installation were to turn on at the same time. The higher the Monitor ID, the
longer the delay is before the monitor powers on.
For example, if the Monitor ID is 20 and the [DELAY TIME] is 5 seconds, the amount of time that passes
between when the POWER ON button is pressed and when the power actually turns on is 95 seconds.
This allows the 19 monitors in the multi-monitor installation to turn on with 5-second intervals between
each power on.
NOTE: If the [DELAY TIME] is set to 0 seconds, there will be no extended delay for [LINK TO ID].
The delay time must be 1 second or higher to delay power on.

PASSWORD Input the current password to change the settings in this menu. The default password is 0000.
SECURE MODE Selects when a security password is required to use the monitor.

CURRENT PASSWORD Enter the current password.
NEW PASSWORD Enter a new password.
CONFIRM PASSWORD Enter the new password again to conrm the password change.
LOCK SETTINGS Prevents the monitor from being controlled by the wireless remote control, the buttons and key on the
monitor, or both. Please refer to “Locking the Button Controls” (page 54 and page 55).
ALERT MAIL When set to [ON] and the monitor is connected to a network, the monitor can send an email message
when an error occurs. The email settings must be congured in the monitor’s HTTP server settings for an
ALERT MAIL to be sent. See page 69.
RESET Resets all SECURITY settings back to factory setting, except for [POWER ON DELAY] and [SECURITY
SETTINGS].
