1. Milkpoint Controller

1.1 General
The most important features of the Milkpoint Controller (MPC
-
2) with its
c
onnected milk meter and process computer are:
Measuring milk quantity/ milk yield
Automatic cluster removal
Automatic emptying milk glass (with level meters)
Measuring milk temperature and milk conductivity (optional)
Pulsation pilot with stimulation at l
ow milk yield

Render animal warnings
The MPC
-2 is connected to a process controller which is connected to the PC.
In this way all the necessary or changed data will be available after
communication, on both MPC
-
2 and PC.
Th
e MPC
-
2 is equipped with a soft
-touch keypad, divided into four groups:
animal information function keys, enter data, control and
cluster. The keys will
be described separately in this manual.
The information is displayed on a display, by means of abbrevia
tions.
The MPC
-2 can also give warnings, by means of clear warning LED s and a
red warning lamp.
Milk meter cleaning instructions are described in chapter 5. Please read these
instructions carefully, as they are essential for the proper operation of the mi
lk
meter.
