LACT Number of days in lactation
HEAT Number of days s ince the last heat. Present date is entered by filling
in a 1. Filling in a 0 will restore the old value.
INSEM Number of days since the last insemination. Present date is entered
by filling in a 1. Filling in a 0 will restore the old value.
INCALF Cow pre gnant. Fill in 1=Yes, fill in 0=No.
DRY Number of days dry. Present date is entered by filling in a 1. Filling
in a 0 will restore the old value.
6.2 Warning; warning lamp, LED s and display
The MPC -2 features a red warning lamp, LED s and display, to no tify the milker
of one or more exceptional situations.
There are three phases in which warnings can be generated;
From cow identification till end of neutral time
During milking
After removal of the cluster, until next cow is identified
Depending on these three situations the combination of LED and red warnings
lamp will have different meanings.
The table on the next page gives an overview of the different situations and the
meaning of the warning.
Press the relevant animal information function key corresp onding to the
flashing/burning LED, when a warning occurs. The display will now alternate
with the item to which the warning applies.
Caution: Always press the information function key again to check if there are
more warnings.
