3.6 Milk sample with Memolac milk meter
If it is entered in the PC that a milk sample should be taken, the measuring
container has to be emptied manually after milking.
Press the function key empty milk glass in order to have the last quan
tity of
milk out of the meter.
3.7 Empty milk glass manually (level meters)
After the milking is completed, the MPC
-
2 will, after a predefined time, empty
the milk glass automatically. If during milking an abnormal situation (deviation
in the milk) is d
iagnosed, the MPC
-
2 will NOT empty the milk glass
automatically. After cluster removal the MPC
-2 s red warning lamp will start
flashing in order to attract attention.
Despite this, the milk glass can be emptied by pressing the function key empty
milk glas
s . After emptying the milk glass the valve will be shut after a
predefined time.
The milk glass will not be emptied automatically in the following situations:
Milk separations unequal zero
Colostrum
Milk yield lower than expected
Take milk sample

parlour feeding
After a cow is identified in the milking parlour, and after a predefined time, the
cow will automatically be fed a portion of feed.
If required, an individual cow can be fed an extra portion of feed; done by
carrying out the following p
rocedure:
Press function key feeding .
The display shows ACTFDM xx.x
Open the field with the (C) Clear
-
key.
Enter the required amount of extra feed with the numeric keys 0 to 9.
If required enter a dot with the (C) Clear-
key.
Close the field wit
h the (E) Enter
-
key.
