After the cluster has been removed the milk data will be transferred to the 
process controller. The next cows can now enter the milking parlour. If the milk 
data has been transferred, the next identified cow will appear on the display. 
The cluster can be attached to start the next milking session. 
 
During milking it is always possible to end the milking session by pressing the 
release cluster  key. 
If no cow is identified, the display and the red warning lamp start flashing. A 
cow num
ber can be entered manually (see chapter 3.4). 
 
Caution:
 
In case of milk separation, dry cow or colostrum, the red warning 
lamp will be on. To start milking now, hold function
-key  automatic removal  or 
manual removal  for at least three seconds, to lowe
r the cluster.
 
 
3.2 Continue milking after kicking off the cluster 
In case the cluster is already removed and the milking has to be continued, 
e.g. after kicking off the cluster, the new milk yield can be added to the already 
existing values:
 
 
Press the 
Shift
-
key.
 
  
Within 2 seconds press the function key  automatic removal  or  manual 
removal . 
   
Reconnect the cluster and continue milking. 
The milk data will now be added to the existing data, to finish with the correct 
total milk yields.
 
 
3.3 Switching 
between manual and automatic removal
 
During milking it is always possible to switch between manual removal and 
automatic removal, and vice versa. To do so: 
 
Press function key  automatic removal  or  manual removal . 
 
The display shows what mode is curr
ently in use by showing an  h  (manual), 
or three horizontal dashes (automatic), on the sixth position.
