WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
• Ensure that there is no vacuum present in the system during service.
• Always disconnect the compressed air supply before any service.
NOTE! Check all power conductors and protecve conductors one month aer installaon
and ghten, if required, to ensure good contact. Service to the electrical equipment may
only be carried out by a qualied electrician.
One month aer installaon, and then every year, perform the following checks:
• Check all power and protecve conductors and ground wire connecons. Tighten, if
required, to ensure good contact.
• Inspect the integrity of the dust separator.
• Ensure that the inside of the unit and the connecon ducts are free from deposits.
Build-up of deposits inside the duct system may cause discharge of stac electricity.
• Clean the area around the unit and all areas where the collected material is stored to
ensure that there are no dust deposits.
• Check that all signs/markings regarding safe operaon are in place and that the
personnel knows about them.
6.2 Empty the collector bin
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
• Ensure that there is no vacuum in the dust separator before removing the collector bin.
• Crush hazard. Be careful when lowering and reng the collector bin. Use proper
protecve equipment.
• Wear goggles, dust mask and gloves when emptying the collector bin.
NOTE! The plasc bag is to be replaced when lled up to 2/3, see gure 11.
Do the following to replace the plasc bag:
1. Ensure that there is no vacuum in the dust separator.
2. Remove the collector bin.
3. Seal and remove the plasc bag. Use a cable e or equivalent, see gure 12.
4. Fit a new plasc bag in the collector bin.
5. Ret the collector bin onto the dust separator.
6. Check that the pressure equalizer hose is aached to the collector bin, see gure 14.
7. Check that the collector bin seals properly once vacuum is re-applied to the dust
separator.
6.3 Replace main lter
NOTE! Fing the steel ring correctly is important to maintain the ghtness and durability
of the unit. Do not forget to reground it.
Filter replacement is to be noted in the service protocol of the unit. Replacing individual
lter bags is possible, but it is recommended that the whole lter package is replaced since
it is quicker and causes less spreading of dust. The work is easy, if the unit is placed so it
can be lted, see gure 15. Also, the lter may be lied straight up, see gure 16, with a
crane or other liing device.
If the lter bags are replaced separately, the plasc holders will also have to be replaced.
