If individual components are being stored at a different location prior to final
assembly and installation of the machine / plant, they must be stored in a dry
location protected against adverse weather conditions.
Furthermore, the components must be protected against aggressive
atmospheres and other damaging influences of any type whatsoever.
The condition of the anti-corrosion layer must be checked regularly and any
damage repaired (→ section “Maintenance and inspection of the conserved
machine / plant”).
